Certification Program in Church Business Administration

           REGISTRATION FORM FOR CBA SEMINAR

                   JUNE  9 - 19,  2008  SEMINAR II

A certification program in Church Business Administration has been
established to provide recognition for those serving in the field of
Church Business Administration.  Those who meet the requirements
by the NACBA as a Fellow in Church Business Administration (FCBA)
will be recognized.  Several denominations also certify those who
attend these seminars and meet other specified requirements.

The Certification Seminar includes attendance at Seminar I and
Seminar II and a project in church business administration. The
project is to be done with sufficient depth and thought to constitute
a satisfactory research-action project and be a responsible contribution
to the field.  Bound copies of the project will be added to the seminary
library and the offices of the NACBA and SBCBAA.

A person may decide to take one seminar at Southwestern and the
other at another certification center.  Seminar I and II can be taken
in any order.

Monday:         1:30 PM - 7:30 PM
Tuesday:         8:30 AM - 7:30 PM
Wednesday     8:30 AM - 4:30 PM
Thursday:        8:30 AM - 7:30 PM
Friday:            8:30 AM - Noon

Second week:  Closing Lunch Banquet
will be held from noon - 2 PM on Thursday
(Attendance required at banquet) Airline reservations should not be made earlier than 4 p.m.

SEMINAR FEES   The fee for the two week program is $550.00 payable at the time of registration. 
In additon to the seminar materials, the fee includes seven continental breakfasts,
morning and afternoon refreshment breaks, two lunches and five dinners.

CANCELLATION                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                           Before May 1, the refund will be $450.00, after that date, the amount will be $275.00.

Seminary Lodging (one block from the seminar)     Guest rooms in the Leadership Development Center ,
which are very nice,much like a Marriott would be our first suggestion. For a queen bedroom, the rate is $65.00 a night.
However, if you plan to stay 10 consecutive days, they generally have a lower rate for the extended stay.
There is also a mini suite available for approx. $70.00 a night. Breakfast coupons automatically come with the room rate.  
Amenities include:  Internet access in the Leadership Center and the use of the Recreational Facility (work out area, pool, racquetball, etc.)

The cost is about $30 each way.  However, you would need to make these arrangements in advance of your arrival.

CAR RENTAL

Car Rental at DFW airport is extremely costly.  A list of participants will be available (upon your request) for you to contact
in case you would like to work out sharing the cost with someone who is also attending the conference.
